We are not only super excited to be starting my Blue Wheelers journey in and around my new hometown of Yarrabilba after moving from the Phillip Island area of Victoria in early 2022, but also to be meeting people and their pets in my community and providing a top-shelf grooming service to your pet.

We have many favourite dog breeds. I love Labs for their big happy smiles and playful nature, not to mention when they get to those senior years and get the wise grey hairs coming through around the face. French Bulldogs and pugs and how could I forget those fierce and sometimes feisty Chihuahuas. We have always been pet people from a very young age. We would stop and chat with the dogs waiting for their owner to come back out from the supermarket or for the dog to go crazy through the fence when I take my dog on a walk. When I was growing up my family and I always seemed to be finding dogs that had gotten out of their home/backyard and would always be rescuing them. Once we even helped a beautiful Border collie off the train tracks at the train station. We have always had dogs in my life ranging from a big Newfoundland named Cassie, two rescue Border Collie pups Pippa and Panda, and Samba a Maltese Shih Tzu, who had lived with two other families before she came to be part of ours, Bailey an Australian Shepherd and our current fluff a Papillion x Chihuahua Dexter, named after the TV show.

Before Blue Wheelers I worked as a Hairdresser in Melbourne. I also worked as a Bridal consultant. Parts of both of these industries carry over into the grooming industry and my journey as a Blue Wheeler. Instead of being covered in hair, I have swapped it for fur and I’m more than happy about that. Being able to listen and be approachable, understanding and caring, helps me see that not everyone fits in the same box and that is exactly the same as our dogs.
